Eligibility

EAP Contractor Membership is available to companies who are qualified to install, repair, and maintain residential, commercial, and industrial energy systems. See eligibility requirements below.

Generator Installers
HVAC Contractors
Renewable Energy Contractors
Smart Roof Contractors
Solar Energy Contractors

Requirements

As part of the application process, you will be required to submit proof of the following (as appropriate):

Carry and maintain a minimum of $1,000,000 (aggregate) of general liability insurance
Workers compensation insurance (as appropriate)
Valid HIC Number (if providing residential service)
Philadelphia Electrical License Number and expiration date (if conducting electrical work in Philadelphia)

Support navigating PECO, Philadelphia L&I

Sometimes, you just need someone to call to help you navigate a one-off situation. Membership in the EAP offers you an immediate network of professionals accessible by calling a member of the EAP Management Team. If they don’t know how to assist, odds are, they know someone who does!

EAP’s Residential HVAC Rebate Program offers participants another tool in their sales tool kit. Stackable with PECO rebates, this is a great tool to use when manufacturers rebates may not be available. We also work closely with several of PECO’s rebate partners, another key resource to contractors.

Over $15,000 in Scholarship Funds for EAP Member Families

Businesses of any size are always looking for ways to enhance their employee benefits packages and your membership in EAP allows you to do just that! Each year, EAP’s Educational Foundation gives out over $15,000 in scholarship funds to advance the educational endeavors of the families working for our member companies.

Monthly Industry News

Distributed on the third Thursday of each month, The Energizer is sent to EAP members to keep them updated on industry news (like changing regulations or licensure updates), opportunities, as well as programs and services to available for customers.
