Basic Design – Cost Effective Installation Methods
Wednesday, October 9, 2024
Webinar (Zoom)
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
Instructor: Marc Faulkner
CEUs/PDHs
2 for Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware
2 for Pennsylvania Electrical Inspectors
2 for PEs approved by IEEE*
Fees
$75.00/student for EAP members
$100.00/student for non-EAP members
*$25.00/student for IEEE PDH certificate
Course Overview
This webinar has been developed to help electrical contractors save money and time by providing alternative approaches to a code compliant installations. As most of us know, the NEC® is not a design manual. It is, however, a standard developed for safe installations. Code compliance does not need to translate to “expensive”. It is possible to comply with code requirements using available alternatives, but first you need to know them. In this day and age of supply chain issues, joining us may help you gain an advantage by using basic design options

Code Overlaps – What Electricians Need to Know
Wednesday, November 20, 2024
Webinar (Zoom)
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
Instructor: Marc Faulkner
CEUs/PDHs
2 for Philadelphia, Delaware and New Jersey
2 for Pennsylvania Electrical Inspectors
2 for PEs approved by IEEE*
Fees
$75.00/student for EAP members
$100.00/student for non-EAP members
*$25.00/student for IEEE PDH certificate
Course Overview
This webinar will include information on several overlaps with other codes that will benefit electricians and help ensure compliance with areas in which they are involved. Educate yourself on the various codes and requirements related to your installation. Samples of overlap between codes related to electrical work include the building code(s) - smoke detectors, egress lighting, emergency systems, fire-rated assemblies, and energy conservation codes - lighting controls, lighting allowances.
Applicable codes: 2018 International Building Code, 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC ®), 2018 International Residential Code.
