Locate a Contractor Program

Open to HVAC and Electrical contractor members, EAP’s Locate a Contractor Program is designed to increase your bottom line by driving customers in need of service to you! Customers can locate insured and qualified contractors in the five-county region by searching our online Locate a Contractor site or by calling EAP. EAP also serves as a referral source for PECO’s Customer Call Center.

A: HVAC and Electrical Contractor members can enroll at no additional cost as a benefit of membership.

Email Program Manager Matt Deibert to sign up. You will need to identify service categories and service areas to generate the best customer referrals.
A: We refer each customer up to three contractors based on the needs of the customer and the enrollment data supplied by contractor participants.

Referrals Categories that Narrow Results:
  • Type: Electrical or HVAC work
  • Size:
    • Residential
    • Commercial
      • Small (<$100k)
      • Medium ($101k - $500k)
      • Large ($500K +)
    • Government,
    • Industrial
    • Institutional
  • Service: Specific service customer is seeking (e.g. Electric Vehicle Charging, Central AC, Gas Hot Air, Service Entry Cable Wire, etc.)
  • Location: Zip code of customer within the five-county Philadelphia region. EAP currently provides contractor referrals for customers in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

If your company matches the customer’s needs, you will be displayed in the search results. A rotating system is used to ensure fairness of search results.
A: All contractors participating in the Locate A Contractor Program must:
  • Be an EAP member in good standing
  • Have current Liability Insurance ($500,000 or greater) documents on file at EAP
  • Have current Workers Compensation Insurance documents on file at EAP as required by law
  • Have current HIC Number at EAP on file (if providing residential services)
  • Have a physical address on file for your company

A: Yes! If you provide both electrical and HVAC services you may enroll in both Locate A Contractor Programs.
A: Contractors will be temporarily removed from search results if the company’s Liability Insurance. Workers Compensation Insurance, or HIC# (residential search results only) on file with EAP is expired.
A: You can add EAP as an Insurance Certificate holder with your provider, and they will automatically send EAP updated COIs as you renew. Otherwise, be sure to keep an eye out for reminders from EAP sent primary via email.
A: Search results are based on type of job, service requested, and zip code of the customer. If you do not match all parameters in a customer’s request your company will not be displayed.
A: EAP will update services based on consumer needs and contractor requests. Please contact Matt Deibert with suggested services.
