About EAP Scholarships

Thanks to our generous donors, EAP’s Educational Foundation provides the families of our member companies with exclusive access to $20,000+ in scholarship funds annually! The application process opens in January each year.

Educational Foundation Scholarships

Scholarships are intended to help graduating high school students advance their educational endeavors.  There are three scholarship funds students may apply to (based on eligibility): the EAP Educational Foundation Scholarships, the EAP Regional Technical School Scholarship, and the Ellen Barag Women in Engineering Scholarship.

In 2023, the Foundation Board has approved up to $14,000 in Scholarships Funds, which will be allocated as follows:

  • Up to three (3) scholarships for $4,000 will be awarded to applicants attending a four-year college/university.

  • One (1) scholarship for $2,000 will be awarded to an applicant attending a vocational or technical school; eligible students must attend a high school located in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia Counties (located in Pennsylvania).  Membership affiliation is not a requirement to be eligible for this scholarship!

The Ellen Barag Women in Engineering Scholarship, funded by G&W Electric, will award $5,000 to the selected applicant.  And, there’s more!  If the selected student will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall, an additional $5,000 will be awarded, thanks to Ellen Barag!
