Association Benefits

EAP offers a wide variety of member programs and services. Learn more below to make the most out of your membership. Members should login to learn more about how to access these programs for their business.

Continuing Education

With more than 20 in-house and virtual classes held annually, EAP is your go-to for your continuing education and training needs. Continuing education credits are available for licensees who hold their licenses in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. Select courses are eligible for IEEE PDH’s credits.

Contractor Business Leads – Locate a Contractor Program

The EAP provides customers with qualified contractors to conduct work in their homes or place of business. Whether a customer is sent to us through PECO, word of mouth, or if they find us via the web, contractor members who maintain up-to-date insurance information, service area zip codes, and HIC numbers ensure they receive customer leads as part of their membership.

Customer Financing

Through our partnership with the National Energy Improvement Fund, EAP members have access to trusted customer financing for both residential and commercial projects.

Debt Collection – Commercial Accounts

Payables overdue? This EAP member benefit enables members to turn over the work of debt collection to a reputable collection agency. The EAP went to great lengths to find an agency with sound business practices and reasonable rates - The Graphic Arts Credit Bureau in Trevose. All collections are completely confidential. Your claim is reviewed by an expert at no charge.

Please note that the Graphic Arts Credit Bureau can handle claims NATIONWIDE and GAA has attorneys across the country who specialize in collection if an attorney referral is necessary.

The EA Extra Newsletter

The Association's newsletter, The EA Extra, provides information on events, educational and business opportunities, industry issues, member happenings, and member benefit updates. This member resource is published monthly in electronic form. To sign up to receive the newsletter, email us at electric@eap.org.

Harassment and Discrimination Training

Sexual harassment and discrimination training are important components of your continued employee training and compliance programs. EAP's employment attorney, Michael Torchia of Semanoff Ormsby Greenberg & Torchia, is generously offering EAP members a deep discount on sexual harassment and discrimination training.

Normally $650 for a 75 minute, upbeat and at times humorous training session, members can bring Mr. Torchia in for this training at the EAP Member Rate of just $150. Check out Mr. Torchia's article featured in the January 2018 issue of Smart Business Philadelphia to learn more about what steps you should take to prepare for a possible claim.
