Honoring Jack Beiter, Foundation President, December 5
The EAP is excited to honor the contributions of Jack Beiter, Educational Foundation President, serving from 1995-2023! Join us during our Holiday Party on Tuesday, December 5 as we recognize Mr. Beiter.
Under Mr. Beiter’s leadership, the Educational Foundation has awarded over $289,000 to 114 students. It has expanded its scholarship offerings, most recently to include local trade school funds as well as the Ellen Barag Women in Engineering Scholarship funded by G&W Electric.
We look forward to seeing you December 5! This event is free to attend and is for EAP members and invited guests only.

2024 Membership Year
2024 marks EAP’s 107th year of serving members working in the Greater Philadelphia electrical market. We look forward to another great year of helping members achieve greater business success.
Given the busy nature of the industry, we will continue to offer education in a virtual environment, expanding into various business management topics like succession planning, sales, pricing, and more. Virtual events allow the association to offer high quality education in a flexible and affordable way.
Networking events will continue to take place around the various counties, partnering with industry associations like the Home Builders Association of Delaware and Chester Counties. You never know where that next connection will take you!

L&I eCLIPSE Permitting Basics Webinar
L&I will be conducting a 2-hour public training session on the basics of filing permit applications through the online eCLIPSE system. This webinar is an introductory session intended for new users. The session will be held on Wednesday, December 6th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. via Zoom. Please register if you are interested in attending this information session.

L&I will be conducting a 1-hour public training session to walk you through the department’s website and provide an overview of available L&I resources. Virtual inspections Pilot Program
The Department conducted a public webinar on October 24th, on the virtual inspections pilot program. The pilot program will start with virtual inspections for some General Minor Permits that consist of EZ Deck, EZ Roof Covering Replacement, and EZ Wall Covering Replacement, and some General Permits that consist of Solar Panels, Retaining Wall, Signs, and Tank Install/Removal. These virtual inspection types will be available by the end of 2023. The slides from the public webinar can be found on the “Resources” page of the L&I website.
