Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) – Energy Efficiency Incentives
This is the single largest climate investment in American History, investing $369 billion dollars to reduce carbon pollution in the US by 2030. What does this mean for you? Another tool for your sales kit when speaking with customers interested in energy efficient equipment and upgrades! Most of the incentives are geared toward the consumer, however there are incentives for home builders and commercial incentives as well.
We’ve compiled a summary of tax credits and rebates available as part of the IRA. Feel free to share this with your team to help them better understand it and have direct resources to the various nuances of this Act.
For our members serving the heating & air conditioning community, be sure to check out the Spring Residential HVAC Rebate Program (information coming soon) that will complement the IRA, increasing the savings to your customers!
