Thanks to our generous donors, EAP’s Educational Foundation provides the families of our member companies and students in the region with access to over $20,000 in scholarship funds!
Scholarships are intended to help graduating high school students advance their educational endeavors. There are three scholarship funds students may apply to (based on eligibility):
- EAP Educational Foundation Scholarships - 3 available at $4,000/each: for member families only
- EAP Regional Technical School Scholarship - 1 available at $2,000: open to students in the region
- Ellen Barag Women in Engineering Scholarship, funded by G&W Electric - 1 available at $5,000*: open to member families of EAP AND open to students in the Philadelphia region.

Application Process
Please gather the following information as you prepare to apply to one or more scholarships:
- Your intended college of choice (if you have not yet selected one, list your top choice)
- A copy of your high school transcripts (they do need to be “official,” but must include your name)
- A list of your extracurricular activities, honors, and awards
- A list of your community service and volunteer activities
- An essay (or essays) answering the following question (s) (max 1,000 words each essay):
- EAP Scholarship Fund Essay: Please tell us about your career aspirations, a challenge you have overcome, or your how you wish to make an impact on the world.
- EAP Regional Technical School Scholarship Fund Essay: Why have you selected a career in the electrical/HVAC trades? or, Where do you see yourself after completing vocational/technical school?
- Ellen Barag Women in Engineering Scholarship: Thomas Edison was tenacious in his search for the successful construction of the electric light bulb. He once said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Discuss what this quote means to you.
