Program Participation Requirements

  • All participating contractors must have a minimum of $1,000,000 in General Liability insurance, Workers Compensation (as required by law), and a current HIC number.
  • To be eligible for an EAP rebate, customer contracts must be signed between February 12 and April 19, 2024.
  • The Contractor and the Manufacturer or Distributor equally share the cost of the full rebate amount: 50% Contractor and 50% Manufacturer or Distributor.
  • Contractors are responsible for providing the full rebate amount to the customer as an instant discount. Please note the EAP rebate and rebate amount on the customer’s invoice.
  • Following installation, the Contractor must file a claim to receive a reimbursement of 50% of the full rebate amount from the manufacturer or distributor. The Manufacturer or Distributor reimburses contractors with account credit within 15 days of receiving claim submissions for qualifying claims.
  • For a customer to be eligible for an EAP rebate, the system must be installed by May 10, 2024.
  • All qualifying claims must be submitted to EAP by May 17, 2024. Complete submissions must include: EAP claim information, an invoice clearly noting the EAP Rebate and rebate amount provided to the customer, and the AHRI Certificate of Product Rating sheet. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Rebates will be offered on full heat pump or central air conditioning systems. For heat pump systems, this means that both the outdoor unit and indoor air handler must be installed. For central air conditioning systems, this means that the outdoor unit, indoor fan-bearing unit or furnace, and coil must be installed. Add-on coils alone are not eligible for a rebate. Rebates are based on AHRI Type noted on AHRI Certificate.
  • Contractor must purchase participating brand equipment from a participating manufacturer/distributor. All system components must be purchased from the same distributor to qualify for the rebate reimbursement. Manufacturers and distributors may exclude certain models or tiers.
