Natural Gas Conversion Rebate Program
(Gas Along the Main)

Spring 2008

Converting to natural gas heating is a great value thanks to improved energy efficiency, limited-time rebates, financing and lower equipment maintenance costs.  For year-round comfort and optimal savings, combine your natural gas heating conversion with a new central air conditioning system.

Limited-time discounts and rebates of up to $400.

Deadline Updates

Contracts may not be signed before February 1, 2008 and must be signed by May 15, 2008 .  Systems must be installed by May 31, 2008.

A $200 Electrical Association of Philadelphia natural gas conversion contractor discount applies to high-efficiency gas heating equipment and installation. You must use a participating Electrical Association of Philadelphia (EAP) natural gas conversion contractor and sign your contract by May 15, 2008.  The discount is deducted from your EAP contractor invoice.  Check with your EAP contractor for details.

       $100 Boiler/Hydronic System   (90% or greater AFUE)

A $200 PECO rebate applies to a natural gas heating system conversion. The PECO rebate is deducted from your PECO bill. You do not have to use an EAP contractor to receive the $200 rebate.  (Click here for the PECO Natural Gas Heating System Conversion Rebate Card.)

Take advantage of PECO credits.
